I bought two pieces of Tylko furniture for my living room. The first, bought last October, is a unit for my turntable and vinyl records. I also included two drawers in the design, where I keep my CDs. It’s a gorgeous deep ochre yellow and fits perfectly into the room, blending in beautifully with the furniture I already had. The second is a TV unit, but to describe it simply as that would be an understatement, because in the drawers and cupboards I’ve stored some of my crockery and ramen bowls, tablecloths, cables, batteries and remote controls (it’s quite long – almost two and a half metres!). I’m absolutely thrilled! Not only because the units are made to measure – which, of course, has allowed me to make the most of the space I have available – but above all because of the quality of the materials and their exceptional sturdiness. What’s more, if you’re a Lego fan, the assembly process is great fun and… incredibly simple! No screwdrivers, no headaches. It all slots together beautifully. I’m also captivated by the engineering behind these products. The drawer runners, for example. I don’t know of anyone else who has come up with anything quite like it. Assembly is so straightforward that it not only ensures the customer isn’t left feeling stressed, but also guarantees that the end result is precise and neat, as if a professional had put it all together.

Functional, bespoke designer furniture
I was able to design the kitchen furniture exactly to fit the space available. I had some colour samples sent to me beforehand. Putting it together was incredibly easy; the individual parts were sturdy and cleverly designed.

My partner and I were looking for a wardrobe that would also serve as a sort of bookcase to display books and Lego creations. After searching high and low, we came across Tylko and, although put off by the cost of the products, we decided to design our own wardrobe-bookcase – and what can I say… in hindsight, it’s incredible how the chance to customise everything, from A to Z, is truly priceless, because putting our own product together in under five hours, using a slot-together mechanism that’s nothing short of brilliant, left us completely satisfied. Every click was a delight, every clean line a pleasure. It’s true that it cost a lot, but believe us: it’s worth every penny!
