The Tylko Original Classic (formerly the Type01 Plywood) is currently constructed of 18mm plywood, or 19mm for our new colours Dark Brown and Blue. It's constructed from 13 layers of cross-laminated, high-quality Northern European birch hardwood, with the edges left exposed (and hand-oiled) to showcase the natural grain of the wood. If you choose to add optional back panels to your Tylko Original Classic, they are made from high-quality particleboard and ""close in"" the back of your furniture to create a finished edge.
The Tylko Original Classic Veneer (formerly the Type01 Veneer) is made from 18mm particle board and bonded with a top layer of premium-grade real wood veneer in ash or oak.
