Guarantor details

The warranty is granted by Tylko S.A. with its registered office in Warsaw (00-732) at ul. Czerska 8/10, Poland, registered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under KRS no. 0000983931, with NIP no. 1132882374.

  1. Sofas Warranty period

The manufacturer's warranty is given for a period of 2 years from the date of delivery, but this does not exclude or limit the customer's rights under the warranty provisions (a statutory warranty/non-conformity of the product with the contract). In the event of non-conformity of the product with the contract, the purchaser shall have remedies by law at the seller's expense and expense, and these remedies shall not be affected by the warranty.

The warranty is only given to purchasers who are consumers. The warranty is not given to buyers who are entrepreneurs with the exception of entrepreneurs who purchase the product for a purpose which is not related to professional or business activity.

The warranty does not cover:

  • changes in the product resulting from normal use, such as deformation of the seat in relation to the others as a result of long-term use of mainly one module, or natural wear and tear of fabrics and upholstery materials;
  • damage caused by the user or animals: e.g. stains, scratches, pulls, tears, damage caused by contact with liquid or sharp objects;
  • defects caused by exposure to high temperatures (e.g. in the vicinity of radiators or strong sun) or long periods of intense sunlight, which can lead to natural discolouration and deformation of the materials;
  • subjective evaluations of the comfort, appearance or colour of the product, such as feelings of comfort or subjective perceptions of colour compared to illustrative advertising images;
  • defects or damage caused by incorrect assembly by the customer (applies to both sofa joints and covers);
  • damage caused by incorrect care or cleaning of the sofa contrary to the recommendations on the tags or in the instructions for use;
  • damage caused by improper use of the sofa, in particular by not using its elements as intended, e.g. sitting on the headrests or backrests contrary to the instructions in the user's manual.

You should follow the rules of proper use and care of the sofa in accordance with the instructions. Fabrics should be cleaned with products intended exclusively for the respective fabric type. Detailed guidelines are available in the product data sheet and care guide available at www.tylko.com.

  1. Complaint process

Complaints should be submitted by email to [email protected] or via the contact form available on the website www.tylko.com enclosing:

  • contact details

  • proof of purchase

  • order number or product serial number (product label to be found under the furniture)

  • a detailed description of the defect or fault, including the date and circumstances in which it was discovered

  • photographs documenting the defect

Tylko considers the complaint within 14 calendar days of receipt. If possible, complaints are considered on the basis of the information provided in the complaint application. In other cases, if necessary, the guarantor will send a service team to the place where the sofa is used in order to assess the validity of the complaint.

If the complaint is accepted, the following forms of compensation are possible at the sole discretion of Tylkor:

  • repair of the component,
  • replacement of the damaged part,
  • replacement of the module or the entire sofa,
  • or, if none of the above is possible, financial compensation.

If the complaint is considered unfounded, you have the right to purchase the relevant components at your own expense. In that case, the cost of travel and verification of the claim will be covered Tylko.

Completion of repairs

If possible, complaints are dealt with on the basis of the information provided in the complaint notification. In other cases, the guarantor directs a service team to the place where the sofa is used in order to assess the validity of the complaint.

You will then be obliged to provide access to the advertised product in conditions that allow for its inspection, servicing or repair at a time agreed with Tylko or its representative (service team).

If the complaint is considered justified during the inspection at the place of use of the sofa, a representative of Tylko will repair it on site, if possible. If on-site repair is not possible, a reproduction and replacement of the defective or damaged element with a new element will be ordered.

  1. Other furniture (excluding sofas)

TYLKO grants extended warranty to buyers who are consumers. The warranty is not given to buyers who are entrepreneurs, with the exception of entrepreneurs who purchase the product for a purpose which is not related to a professional or business activity.

A 10-year warranty, is calculated from the date of delivery of the order to the consumer. In the case of orders consisting of several consignments, the warranty period starts from the date of delivery of the last consignment (complete order).
