Is the new Sideboard available in other colours and finishes?
SIdeboards are available in the colours and finishes found in the Type01 Plywood and Type02 lines, as well as the natural wood finishes of the Type01 Veneer line.
How will I know if a shelf colour will suit my home?
We offer sample kits that let you experience our great colours and finishes – perfect if you’re having a hard time deciding! You can order three different sample kits at the bottom of this page. We can also provide the RAL/NCS codes for all of our colours.
What’s the difference between Type01 Plywood and Type01 Veneer?
Both lines offer the same 4 styles and customisation options, but they also have their own personalities. Available in five timeless colours, Type01 Plywood is made from 13 layers of durable plywood wrapped in laminate and features aluminium handles designed in-house. Type01 Veneer is made from particle board with a natural veneer topper and is available in two earthy tones inspired by nature, made complete with solid wood handles for a tactile experience.
Is a Tylko shelf safe to use in a child’s room?
Absolutely. We use emission-free, non-toxic particle board, as well as rounded handles. Our soft-close doors and drawers ensure no fingers get caught. The included wall mounts offer extra stability and safety.

The Type02 sideboard is 100% what I was looking for my living room - discreet, elegant and integrated into the environment. The perfect choice if you hide things and your favourite objects in the drawers, but want to show off an Instagram-friendly sideboard.

The whole experience was impressive, lots of ways of customisation and great communication throughout the process. I wasn't sure if the colour would be right, as I was looking for a rather black accent to my apartment. However, the colour looks very modern and the dark blue shade is only noticeable in a very strong light and even adds to its charm. All my friends love it and everyone asks where I bought it. I can honestly say that this sideboard just looks amazing and has become the real heart of my small living area. Not to mention the great quality and easiness of assembly. I would recommend Tylko to anyone who needs custom made furniture.

The perfect console for a living room - I use it to store my records/player, plus a bunch of books and favourite things I like to keep at hand. My apartment is rather small, with a combined living-kitchen area, so the sideboard is really in the centre of it all. The assembly took less than an hour and the manual was super easy to follow. Loved the click-in legs!

Wir haben online sowohl ein grosses Bücherregal, als auch ein raumteilendes Regal gestaltet. Als sich kurzfristig die Lieferung verschob und ich mit dem online Chat keine guten Erfahrungen gemacht habe, waren wir in Sorge, wie sich dieses Projekt wohl entwickeln würde. Dann setzen wir 3 mögliche Lieferungstermine fest und … bekamen keine Rückmeldung, welcher es wohl werden würde. Einen Tag vorher wurde dann per email der Termin am nächsten Tag bestätigt - reicht ja auch 🤣 - der Lieferant war super freundlich und kündigte sich per Sms an. Wir haben beide Regale in super kurzer Zeit aufgebaut und sind total happy. Die Verpackung hat uns begeistert !!! Da hat endlich mal jemand an die Umwelt gedacht. Kein mm zu viel - kein unnötiger Plastikmüll - ein absolut atemberaubendes Packagedesign!!!! Die Beschriftung und Aufbauanweisung ‚short, sweet and to the point‘ ! Also ‚bis auf‘ die Webdesignfunktion ‚geben Sie drei mögliche Lieferdaten an‘ und dann keine Rückmeldung und ‚krickets‘ … war diese Kaufentscheidung ein absoluter Genuss !!! Wir freuen uns total über Euer tolles Produkt. DANKE !!

Es ist nicht mein erstes Tylko, weshalb ich natürlich wusste, welche Qualität ich bekommen würde. Ich bin sehr glücklich darüber. Das Aufbauen braucht allerdings schon etwas Kraft, und man muss höllisch aufpassen, dass man es exakt nach Anleitung macht, die aber sehr gut und übersichtlich ist. Es hätte teilweise aber geholfen, wenn die Anleitung nicht nur mit Bildern und Grafiken wäre sondern auch hier und da ein paar erklärende Worte. Bei den Schubladen hatte ich ein bisschen Probleme. Ich wüsste auch nicht, wie man das Ganze wieder auseinander bekommt. Aber jetzt steht es und sieht einfach nur wunderbar aus. Das ist ein Möbelstück, dass mich lange begleiten wird.

Amazing product with huge cost to quality ratio! Nothing like it on the market for the price. Super easy system to assemble as well. Only downside was that when I made pirchase it said 5-6 weeks delivery and it took 8, but would still buy it again. Over all more than satisfied and they do have nice customer service people so another plus to the experience.
